Diablo V: This Time, Diablo Already Won
Blizzard revealed Diablo V at BlizzCon 2026. Sanctuary has fallen, Diablo rules from Westmarch, and you play as the Heir to Westmarch. Demon Hunter, Monk and the new Plague Knight, runewords are back, and it targets spring 2029.
In Diablo Five, the bad guy already won. Blizzard just revealed it, and Sanctuary has fallen. Diablo sits on the throne of Westmarch, and you play as the Heir to Westmarch, someone with a dark bond to Diablo himself.
That bond might be how you beat him, or how he takes you over. There are no safe towns anymore. You travel with a caravan of allies, including a stranded Treasure Goblin. Three classes are confirmed: Demon Hunter, Monk, and a brand new Plague Knight.
Runewords are back, and even the overworld is procedurally generated. The catch? It's not coming until spring 2029.
